Trip Highlights
This route combines time in Oban, where the air is filled with the sweet smell of malted barley from the centrally located maritime influenced whisky distillery and a short trip east to one of Scotland’s most famous smokehouses.
Your day includes an exhibition visit and tasting at a Scottish smokehouse where salmon, trout and game are gently cured over whisky cask smoke to produce award winning flavours.
A visit and tasting at one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, a chocolate tasting experience followed by micro-brewery craft ale and a recommendation of where to enjoy a perfect pier side lunch, completes a sublime day around the seafood capital of Scotland.
Leaving from Fort William, Inverary or Stirling we head to picturesque Oban.
